For this week's gallery talk, I have selected temple bracket with a devata standing on a hermit sage. It is an artifact made of wood and it is one of the most significant artifacts of south Asia. Actually, not only the south Asian but also the rest of the Asian countries, temples are seen to have an exceptional level of significant due to the paintings and architecture in its walls. The artifact I selected is holding the cultural aspects of Kathmandu valley in it. These types of artifacts are made by crafting figures on the price of wood.
